The idea for this book came to me during a particularly chaotic time in my life. I was juggling multiple projects, deadlines looming over me like dark clouds, when suddenly, amidst the chaos, this story began to take shape in my mind. I had started writing the book in 2017, and finally, managed to finish it in 2024! A long 7 years where I was inconsistent, sad, depressed and almost gave up....but finally its the love for my characters that kept me going!

I wanted to write something that would make people laugh, something light-hearted yet meaningful. And that's how Mishti, our protagonist, came to life. She's this quirky, relatable character who finds herself caught in a love triangle in the heart of London.

As I delved deeper into Mishti's world, I found myself laughing, crying, and rooting for her every step of the way. Her journey of self-discovery mirrored my own struggles and triumphs, and I poured all of that into the pages of this book.

Writing "Oops! My Heart Did a Somersault" was a rollercoaster ride in itself. And now, here we are—the book is out in the world, ready to be enjoyed by readers like you. It's a surreal feeling, seeing something that started as a tiny spark of an idea grow into a full-fledged novel.
